Omagh Bombing Inquiry begins its work

The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, the Rt Hon Chris Heaton-Harris MP, has today published the Terms of Reference for the Omagh Bombing Inquiry.

The Terms of Reference is a document which outlines what the Inquiry will look at and its publication marks the formal start of Inquiry business. In response to the publication, the Rt Hon Lord Turnbull, Chairman of the Inquiry, has released an introduction to the Inquiry, outlining how he wishes to conduct the Inquiry.
